Balancia

Balancia is a stylish and space-efficient beam-system range. A wide range of worksurfaces in different shapes and sizes are supported by wire-managed legs and beams. This enables individual desks or more complex linked workstations to be created, to meet your office requirements, with incredible flexibility. Balancia Technical Detail

Balancia is manufactured to ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems.

It is available in beech, birch, cherry, grey, marron, light oak, natural oak and portofino cherry finishes. Tops are 25mm thick MFC with 3mm impact resistant edges. Tops are fitted with silver cable ports.

Modesty panels are 18mm thick MFC with 1mm impact resistant edges, in the finishes above, or in steel, finished in silver RAL finish 9006. The metal legs and beams are finished in silver RAL finish 9006.

Individual Balancia Wave Desk

One beauty of Balancia is its versatility. You can extend upwards as well as outwards. The permutations are endless.

Desk shown is a left hand wave shape in beech effect melamine finish and features a standard width mobile pedestal in beech, with the standard pewter coloured sides. The meeting extension is 800mm x 400mm and serves as a great place for that informal meeting. Choose it to match the desk or in a range of contrasting colours; lilac, light blue, light green or pewter. The third level shelf extends the desk upwards, in this case shown holding a flat screen monitor. Note also the Balancia CPU support bracket, which is height and width adjustable.

Balancia Wave Desk Cluster

Four grey finished desks, no clutter. Desk mounted screens with integral tool rails divide the space whilst offering functionality.

Combining wave desks with our excellent storage products enables large numbers of desks to be installed into a relatively small space, whilst keeping the office design both attractive and efficient.

Narrow mobile pedestals at 320mm wide allows more leg space for the user.

Balancia Kipper Shape Desks

Place two Kipper desk formations back to back and you make optimum use of the space in a shape we call stealth.

The meeting end is ideal for informal meetings at either desk. The desk features a tool-rail which can hold pencil pots and letter trays etc.

These desks are shown in birch effect melamine finish.The narrow mobile pedestal units have two drawers plus a section on the top to house papers etc.

Corner Workstation in Balancia

Rght hand radial or corner worksurface linked to a left hand wave top in grey melamine finish, completed by two light blue meeting extension tops.

Desk tops have rectangular cable outlets for ease of wire management access. Legs have integral vertical wire management and horizontal channels can be fitted to the beams if desired, at extra cost.

An accessory tool bar and CPU support bracket are fitted to this desk.

Balancia Surf Desks in Birch Finish

Some desking looks fine as a single unit. How many look at least as good in multiple configurations? Surf workstations have sleek modern lines and ingenius curved edges. Balancia is an aesthetic accomplishment.

Individual desk elements of 1600mm or 1800mm wide x 1400mm deep can be used as freestanding desks, or in clusters, as shown here in birch effect finish, with dividing screens, mobile pedestals and blue meeting extension tops.

Balancia Conference Tables

Balancia conference tables ooze style, confidence, commitment, creativity, stability, achievement and good judgement. Conference tables that are the pinnacle of good design and good taste.

Produced in a choice of seven melamine finishes, and supported by stylish Balancia legs which incorporate vertical cable management, these tables offer exceptional style at competitive prices.

Tables are available in rectangular, double d-end, barrel shape, circular or square shapes, from 600 x 600mm up to 2400mm x 1200mm. Larger tables may be produced in sections upon special request. We have supplied tables 3600 x 1200mm, for example.

Bookcases

Sylish desks and tables need stylish cupboards and bookcases to complement them.

From open shelf bookcases to larger double door or tambour door cupboards, Balancia offers a wide range of storage to match.

Alternatively, Balancia can be matched to our storagewall ranges or coordinated with steel side opening tambour door cupboards.

Balancia Height Adjustable Table

You decide the height of Balancia's gas lift table, easily adjustable in seconds. Sit down for a traditional formal meeting or stand up to informally run through some documents etc. Varying your working position throughout the day has great benefits and this is just one way of incorporating this.

Circular table tops from 600 to 1200mm diameter, and square table tops from 600 x 600mm to 1200 x 1200mm are available in all of the wood effect finishes and also light blue, light green, lilac and pewter.

The table tops can also be supported by standard height bases, or by using individual legs.

Frame Detail

The Balancia workstation structure offers great strength and fantastic flexibility.

Horizontal beams are connected to the legs to provide the main support for an individual desk or larger workstation cluster. Multiple desks can share legs, and hence reduce cost whilst minimising clutter.

Our expert designers can specify the structure in various ways to achieve different results, and with different priorities.

CPU Support Bracket

The CPU support brackets can be adjusted for both width and height to cope with the variety of PC sizes. It is suspended from the beam structure, so can be fitted in different positions along it.

Cable Tray Detail on Balancia

The optional Balancia cable tray is available in different lengths from 800mm to 1800mm to suit different configurations.

Suspended from the beam, it offers vast cable storage capacity, and an ability to put the power sockets and any transformers actually into the tray, reducing cable clutter under desks and improving Health and Safety.

Balancia Leg Detail

The stylish legs are normally specified with the leg covers, as seen here, although these can be removed to reduce cost.

These covers house the vertical wire management which runs up the inside of the leg.

Steel Modesty Panel

Modesty panels are not a structural requirement with Balancia and are optional.

Choose stylish steel panels to provide modesty, or perhaps melamine panels in the same finish as the desktop.

Panels come complete with fixing brackets.
